 The plasma device UltrA C 150

The plasma device UltrA C 150 serves to ensure the dry, material-protecting and environmentally friendly plasma treatment of metal surfaces, such as fine cleaning, activation, hydrophobic and hydrophilic treatment, as well as coating using plasma polymerization. A plasma treatment for non-metallic surfaces is also possible. The surface must however, first be tested for effect.

During the operation, a DC- or low frequency plasma is produced by the high voltage between the electrodes in the vacuum chamber. The reason for the emergence of the visible illuminated plasma is due to the higher ionization level of the residual gases in the vacuum chamber.

Due to its flexibility, the device is particularly suitable for use in the laboratory and for research purposes. The device is fitted with an internal micro-processor. The control can be taken over either from personal computer or from an internal operating program. When employing PC control, the user has direct access to all the device functions. With an internal operating program, two keyboard buttons and a display for parameter choice are available for the operator.
